DO I NEED FILLERS OR BIOSTIMULATORS?
Both fillers and biostimulators are likely to be used together as they work differently, with fillers providing immediate but potentially shorter-term results, while biostimulators trigger collagen production in the body for gradual and subtle support, and are each more effective in different areas of the face.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET NEUROTOXINS?
Average longevity is 3-4 months (when dosed optimally) before muscles are back to baseline. Dosing optimally improves longevity, if dosed lower muscles will overcome dose quicker.
IS ONE SYRINGE GOING TO LOOK FAKE?
No, a syringe is 1-1.2 milliliters. When filler is squeezed out of the syringe, the volume is about as much as a large blueberry. The product is placed strategically to create smooth and natural results, no matter the volume.
WHAT IS AVERAGE TOX DOSE?
The number of units required for treatment depends on the specific areas being targeted, but typically when treating the forehead, 11 lines, and crow's feet -which are the most commonly treated areas -a range of 30-50 units can be expected.
ANYTHING TO HEAL FASTER?
Arnica (topical and oral) is always recommended to prevent and speed up the bruising process and may be started as soon as a week before treatment. Tylenol, anti-histamines and Pepcid can be taken to reduce inflammation and swelling.
WHAT TO AVOID BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
Alcohol, blood thinners (if not required by your physician), vitamin E, and fish-oil all tend to increase the risk of bruising.
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?
Although we appreciate up to a year to plan and work toward your aesthetic goals, plan to make your appointment at least 6 weeks before any major events.
